I am currently a student at the foundation level and I need a work placement to be fully qualified.

Please can anyone give me a tips and method to find a work placement or web site specialised?

Thank you in advance

Does your course provider not help you with this? Sometimes they get vacancies for posistions from employers, it may be worth asking them.

Otherwise get a job in practice look online, AAT have a section on jobs (although I dont know at what levels of qualification), look at agencys and write to local accountants or industry (whichever type of accounts you think you may want to do). Some employers respect you when inituative is shown and they are contacted directly. Just write a polite letter explaining your situation. Something may come out of that.

Depending on your age you could try connexions (a government agency for youth 16-21 that help search for employment, connexions is what it is called in somerset I don't know if it is the same all over the country).
:confused1: Don't know if any of this will help you.

You dont need to work in an accountants to be able to get the AAT qualification.
For 'Full Membership' you will need experience, but that can be gained in the last year of AAT courses, or after. http://www.aat.org.uk/students/display/store4/item35896/

Are you doing the NVQ route, & need a placement for the NVQ bits?
If your not working in the field you can do simulations.
