I've got the whole first three series of Goodness Gracious Me on DVD and a crate of beer. That should keep me going.

Oh this will make you all laugh.

I was on my way to college last week (to gain 100% in my auditing mock) when I was stopped by the police.

I asked why I was stopped and they said it was because I was walking down a dark road (it was 6.30am) with my hood up.

I then asked me if I had any illegal drugs on me, which of course, I didn't.

They search my bag, I wasn't bothered by that.

Then they started to take down my details:

    Name: Sara
    Age: 34
    Address: You wish!.
    Occupation: ACCOUNTANT

At that point they decided I was not a threat to society and let me go off to college.

Police can be really stupid sometimes.

I do home study with Premier Training

I really like the tax units - hated PEV and PCR so much - Its a shame I will have resits to do in June when I am doing the tax

I still have 3 to go unit 8 and 9 and the stupid one where you have to learn all the IAS' :( I still cannot see light at the end of this tunnel!

Also done quite a bit of unit 10, purposly bought a new shiny laptop to give me incentive to study!

Emma - I dreaded learning the IAS but two days before the exam I came up with silly reasons for each of them and it really worked

I found the easiest way to learn all the IASs was to write the number down on one set of cards and the names done on another set of cards and then play at matching them up.

It is amazing how quickly you can learn them that way.

    What were your silly reasons?

If I pass this with my tutor i will be soooo shocked.

We go into college of a wednesday night to sit there for 3 hours while he tells us which pages to highlight in our books.

I was also told by him that Kinetic learners (myself) dont become accounts and will all fail. Think i have done well so far!

I think I have drunk too much coffee as my bufferflies in my belly are back with avengance!

I did it based on ages etc and linking a word in the standard to the age or another number based on everyday life

I cant think of them now but will have a look at my flash cards tonight and will remember what kind of things I did

As ASDA says every little helps!

I like hearing peoples quirky suggestions, better than memorising the whole thing!
