What is pay like when you are a qualified accountant, and also when you are training?

    It all depends on where in the country you are - try looking at various accountancy job website - perhaps something like Hays - sorry can't thing of any others - look in the back of the AAT magazine, they all advertise there, and try and find something similar to what you want/where you are etc.

    Take any info on job sites about salaries with a large pinch of salt.
    Lot of jobs seem to have a £4k+ salary range
    Also, they publish salary surveys, however, i doubt anyone north of watford gets anywhere near what they claim they can get.

    Was 4k a typo? Because when I am qualified I will want so much more than that haha.

    So, what sort of range are you looking at for an accountant?
