Commissions Taxable?

Hi Guys

I have a client who is a limited company and has received some commissions only a small amount, just want to make sure is this taxable? or does it get added back on tax comp

    Why would commission not be taxable? Do they have any kind of special exemptions?

    Hi,

    Commissions received would be treated as taxable income as I suspect (in your case), that your client has sold goods on behalf of a third party and is receiving commission based on the value of the sale.
