PI Insurance

For reference, I am about to renew my PI insurance and I found the most competitive quote to be from SBJ Professional. It was over £100 cheaper than my existing policy with Trafalgar.

More-Than also came up with a competitive quote but I was not convinced that their policy met the AATs criteria.

    Have you compared with Trafalgars current rates as they have reduced quite drastically recently?

    I think they also agree to better any other quote you receive, although I can't see it on their link at the moment, but it could be worth contacting them to see what they offer you.

    Trafalgar emailed me with their renewal premium and the price had gone up and the cover had gone down! (They have dropped the automatic 6 year run-off that used to be included).

    I will email them to see if they can better the offer I have had from SBJ.

    I must have been lucky then because from memory I think my premium with Trafalgar reduced by around £100, I guess it depends on the cover required.

    Update:

    Trafalgar have come back to me bettering the SBJ quote by a further 8%.

    I guess it pays to shop around!
