Why is working in Construction so damm hard now.
I have spent the last 3 weeks trying to get rid of 500,000 tonnes of crushed concrete, bricks and soil.
Back end of the year when we were not ready for getting rid of it I had folk calling all the time, now I can't give it away in a goodie bag.
And as for trying to get groundwork contracts don't even get me started.
Spending more time on internet than working just now.:001_wub:

Jup, seems that the building industry definitely been affected by recent economics the same as alot industries but also with the added effect that the housing and mortage markets really under stress as well at the moment, heard people say that nobodies building at the moment and your experience seems to be confirming that for me...0

And I am in Scotland which usually does not get affected as badly.
Don't even get me started on the Bank's attitudes, even complained to BERR about it.0
