    Hi Dean,

    On the employee receiving the payment then , 'yes' under PAYE

    But not on the employer receiving the relief.

    Ah, thanks poodle..

    It was on the employer that I was thinking of - the employee does not receive the relief at all, only the SMP itself. I should have elaborated my question a little better!
