I am about to take over the book keeping for a local charity. I have also been approached to become treasury for the schools PTA, which is currently registering as a charity.
Could anyone recommend a book which would explain the differences with charity accounting and help with an insight to the various regulations that need to be followed. I would like to get some background knowledge prior to undertaking either of these roles

Check out Amazon. Read peoples recommendations. You can buy new or used if ya don't mind a couple of dog earred pages...lol.
I get all my books from there and never had a problem.0 -
Charities Commission give good advice too0
