Did everyone put the revised turnover at 950000 * £12
and the material at 950000* £7.35
Got confuesed at the surplus stock thing, all my figures where just based on the 950000
ah i just reduced them for symon not karli i divided total warehouse cost by original total garments sold then multiplied by karlis total garments.....
Part 2 was so easy I had to re-read the questions over and over again that that was all they wanted! However, reading what you put on section 1 I've 100% failed :-(
I got a loss on the first statement and made up the second statement. Is it just me or was this paper (first section) world's apart from all the others???

Everyones talking about one part of one question - what do you reckon that part was worth in terms of percentage of the whole exam?
:confused1: assuming that you got it wrong?
Ahh yes - the flexed budgets and then laying it out so you could see contribution....yeah i found that all quite easy....i thought i was missing something at first cos it did seem very straight forward
I think I got an overall variance of £232,000 favourable (or something to that figure) on the Operating profit at the bottom for Section 2
think i got something near to this too... i think i may have still messed it up though as have not dealt with the contribution correctly had complete memory loss wehn it came to this
i think i got an adverse too - cant remember, i do remember in my report saying that on the original budget it shows a big profit but after flexing the profit is not as great as it should have been
yipppeee glad you agreed with me i got my first figure wrong i think at the end got 541something lol but think my second figure agrees with the 1mill everyones putting, can anyone remember section 2 what they got as answer from flex budget

Think I got contribution per unit

Actual - £0.90 (rounded up)
Think budgeted profit something like £593k
