    Did everyone put the revised turnover at 950000 * £12
    and the material at 950000* £7.35
    Got confuesed at the surplus stock thing, all my figures where just based on the 950000

    ah i just reduced them for symon not karli :( i divided total warehouse cost by original total garments sold then multiplied by karlis total garments.....

    I think I got an overall variance of £232,000 favourable (or something to that figure) on the Operating profit at the bottom for Section 2

    Part 2 was so easy I had to re-read the questions over and over again that that was all they wanted! However, reading what you put on section 1 I've 100% failed :-(
    I got a loss on the first statement and made up the second statement. Is it just me or was this paper (first section) world's apart from all the others???

    Ahh yes - the flexed budgets and then laying it out so you could see contribution....yeah i found that all quite easy....i thought i was missing something at first cos it did seem very straight forward

    think i got something near to this too... i think i may have still messed it up though as have not dealt with the contribution correctly had complete memory loss wehn it came to this :(

    Damn my contibution was budgeted at 0.36 per unit and actual at 0.41 per unit I think

    i think i got an adverse too - cant remember, i do remember in my report saying that on the original budget it shows a big profit but after flexing the profit is not as great as it should have been
