I was still buzzing with excitement yesterday. I took the kids out to the farm and found myself saying in a sing-song voice "I passed my exams", then blushed when I realised the voice wasn't in my head I had said it loud enough for other people to hear!
E-mails not good enough for you? Or are you wanting to hang it on your wall
well thats my fully qualifaction sheet.......thats later on this month ...but still would like to get a paper form saying thsoe lovely words"y" "y" "y" "y"....cant they give you a % !
Got my letter today! I actually e-mailed them about % and got the following:
Dear Arif
Thank you for your email, and congratulations in passing your exam!
At present we do not provide pass marks.
Pass marks are not allocated to AAT examinations as the mark will be completely different between different sittings and between different sections of the same paper, however, the standard looked for is very high. AAT examinations are competence based assessments and are quite different in character from Percentage a traditional examination. In a conventional examination you may have a pass mark of 40%, the percentage required to gain competence in an AAT exam can be as high as 70%. The percentage is intentionally high as the standard for competence is set in terms of acceptability in the workplace, therefore, it should be appreciated that an employer would not be satisfied with an employee who was only 40 Pass marks % capable of doing their job.
If you have any further queries do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards

but im sure if they had the pass mark and the the pass % was 42% then surely we would all know that the exam was very hard this year and for the ones who passed ...would be good on them and if anyone got about 80% then they would be extremely pleased... i think it would be more beneficial if you could get your % and the %pass mark too......even if you didnt have to put it on your cv?
i know that it wouldnt look great if you had put on that you had passed @ 48% ......but then why do A-levels and most others give you a mark ?and not just Y or N
