Got back from Germany this morning around 1.30am, dehydrated, starving and I'm actually surprised I was allowed through customs with this nuclear bomb of an headache !!

Thinking of looking through my books today, but cannot get into the frame of mind at all !! HEELLLLPPP

Well, just thought I'd give you all a shout to say I'm back, safe and sound.

My names Steve and I'm a forum addict :)

I was thinking the same thunk as Mark: 600k = 600,000 miles or round the world a few times. If it was a British built car, it'd be lucky to make it to the end of the road from the factory that made it (no offence, Steve).

not at all, it is to save lots of people over here buying tax free cars and then selling them and making money from it.

    600 kilometers, not 600,000 - i would really be in the s**t then :)

I don't understand the problem Tracy? Surely as a female driver, even though the car might not have actually done 6,000 miles it'll have had such a hard life, it'll look like it's done thrice that.

funny - it has never come out the garage and when it did, i bloody scratched it LOL - so it is going in for repair on thursday.

yes i am a typical woman driver - and as i dont wear makeup, i never use the mirrors either :)

too stressful, i will stick to riding my bike from now on.

600 kilometers, not miles. i have to have 6000 kilometers in total, i have 5400 kilometers at the moment. in germany we just called them k's instead of saying kilometers all of the time.

unlike in this message i have said it loads :)

I think we're probably just getting confused over the numbers Tracy as I did when I first read it (I multipied 600 x 1,000 to come up with 600,000). Obvious what you mean really once read back.

Taskey that would have been cool to meet up for a stein or two !!
Have you been in Germany long ?
Me and my mate struggled to get into a tent all weekend, but we just about got a seat in the beer gardens.

Oi Blobby, we make top of the range engines in our plant. Its usually at least two streets !

i was born in germany and lived here for 18 years, then joined the army and came back. left the army moved back to england, hated it, so packed bags and moved back to germany.

    I love it.

next year we are hiring a camper van for 4 adults, and driving down and just parking up.

That's what we're doing next year. Getting a 2nd hand camper and drive from England. This year we stayed at the Thalkirchen site - a couple of stops from Marianplatz.

We met loads of really good people from Germany, Italy, Australia and the odd American.

So is the AAT recognised in the rest of Europe ?
I'd love to work when nearly qualified.

Yeah really enjoyed it thanks Becci. Feeling it a bit now though ! Water and nurofen are my new friends for a while !

I would definately recommend it to anyone. As long as you get a few months drinking practice in before hand :)
