Off the Shelf or From Scratch

HI Everyone
I have a new client who is starting up a textile export business and hasn't set the company up yet. Is he better to buy an off the shelf company and change it's name or do it all ourselves from scratch???
If you recommend off the shelf who have you used in the past?

    I havn't used an off-the-shelf in about 10 years. Don't really see the point when you can get same day incorporations from scratch and not have to mess about with changes.

    No point in doing it yourself when you can form a limited company through a formation agent online from as little as £25.

    If you do it yourself it will cost you more as you will need to get a solicitor to witness documents - not to mention time.
