getting agent authorisation code

Hi All,

Wonder if anyone can possibly help me, I have just completed a last minute tax return but I would like to know how do I go about getting the agent authorisation code?

    Once you've logged on to your HMRC account click 'Your HMRC Services' in the top left and then there's an option to request an authorisation code.

    thnk you very helpful, I have done it now, hopefully it will come it time!

    is there a way to phone hmrc and ask for the code? just a thought!

    No, the security check is that it gets posted to your client's address, otherwise you could set up clients without their consent!
