Company Secretary

I was a company secretary for my previous employer, in fact I was for both his companies.

It was in name only though, I wasn't given the chance to carry out any duties associated with role, oh except sign shop leases. When I found out he wanted me to sign a lease for a shop and not declare all it's income (he was going through a divorce at the time) I promptly refused to sign, resigned as company secretary for both companies and as soon as I could found another job!

Just be careful, it is a responsible position, and check why they want you to be company secretary, after it's no longer a requriement to have one.
