Is it me or is anyone else having a nightmare with this system?

    It always used to be a pain .That's why we switched to 3rd party software and never looked back.

    With HMRC software, the phrase "you get what you pay for" has never been truer!!

    have to agree we also use a third party software and its done in a third of the time. have to say the empolyers helpline can be good but if you have a detailed enquirey ya stuffed

    We do use third party software but sadly for payroll its not sage so its not so straight forward. Ive never used PAYE online before and as we have alot of seasonal staff which complicates matters, you end up with several of the same employee which the system doesnt like accepting. Luckily ive had email confirmation now so its all sorted. Perhaps we should have gone to online filing sooner, lol.

    I also use 3rd party software (Moneysoft). Simple to file and done so much quicker than the HMRC system.
