Fees for Level 3 (2010-11)

I have been waiting to find out the costs for next year and have just had an email from my local college, they are pricing the course at £997! On top of this, I am assuming, will be 'learning materials', plus obviously exam fees and AAT fees.
Is anyone else being quoted this sort of figure? I wouldn't mind, but 2 weeks after enrolment date my fixed term contract of employment ends at which point I become exempt from course fees!

That seems about right ours is 900 per year - however if your leaving your job some (not all) you may be able to get help with Fee's upto and including level 3 also there is a learners support fund that helps pay for books, exams and travel - it might be worth going to student support and finding out what you might be able to get0

Hi,
I am doing mine via Kaplan (Distance Learning) and the cost is £109 per module for level 3.
Although because I have completed Certificate I am exempt from the Indirect Tax, so my cost is around £620 (inc postage).
