I first contacted HMRC about a clients missing PAYE payment on the 21st May. I've called regularly since then only to be told that there's a back log of queries and they are dealing with them as quickly as possible.
I called early June and they were dealing with queries from the 26th April, 24th June queries from 4th May, by the 5th August they'd only progressed to the 11th May. Thought I'd leave it a few weeks and have just called again and guess what, they're still on 11th May!! :cursing:

I imagine it's going to be a nightmare getting through to them with any sort of PAYE query now that all these letters have started going out regarding over and underpayments of tax.0

Why does HMRC not have an on-line facility for PAYE, like they do CT and SA?0
