The 'F' Word

Hi
I have for some time now been debating if it is worth applying to the AAT to have the 'F' word added to my membership and basically is it worth it.
Call me Ebeneza but I know it will cost me more in AAT fees and the cost of reprinting my stationery but are there any direct financial benefits?
Responses from other 'F' members in practice would be appreciated.

How much does it cost from AAT etc to do it? Are the membership costs increased also?0

It costs me just a little more on my membership, but it just looks good on my paperwork to have the 'F' added. I can't say it has made any difference to my clients, but I feel good about it. Worth the extra cost.........mmmm......that is a matter of individual opinion.0

I have recently got it and I haven't had anything else. You get the option to subscribe to members plus which is £60 but I don't think it will help me. I just thought it looked good0

Yes, good description - looks good and more experienced.0

Also after 5 years ACCA they automatically give you the F so I thought FCCA MAAT looked wrong!0

I did it recently and don't recall it costing me anything. Or was it an extra fiver on the membership fee? Can't remember.. not much though I don't think.0

They were waiving the "joining" fee when I applied so I just pay the small bit extra each year.0
