Does anyone know if you can put a negative amount in box 1 of an online VAT return?

    Yes I have done it when a massive credit note went in. All that happens is online there are warnings and we got a call asking from it but when we explained all was fine and no investigation but it may trigger one

    Ah thanks, I might give them a call once I've filed it with an explanation. The client only has an investigation a few month ago so hopefully they'll not want to come back again!!
