just when you think you've seen the back of the dim ones for another year...

client had incorporated a ltd company in Feb last year and contacted me in June - i gave him some general advice & I've spoken to him a few times through the year, business is slow, nothing much going on. Just found an email in my junk mail this morning saying that his company accounts are late... turns out the numptie has somehow changed his accounting reference date to 5 April so Co House were expecting a set of accounts from 23 Feb to 5 April 2010 to be prepared and now they're late!! what a lovely start to Feb!!
