I am looking at the number of P60's i will need to prepare for the payroll year end and at current this would only be 4 employess, (practice is a bit slow!).

I know that the cost from Sage itself is cheap £5.99 plus vat, however that will provide me with 50, of which the majority will be used only for scrap paper post the payroll year end being that they are printed with the year on them (2010-11).

So in the aid saving some trees would anyone have say 10 spare that they could do a deal with me for?

Regards

    Hi Michelle

If you order from HMRC they are free and you can chose the quantity to order. Make sure you chose the correct type for your printer and the correct layout for your program.

Can you not produce them electronically?

We use 12Pay and I send people electronic P60s.

    Hi Monsoon

I believe that this year you can send electronic P60's but last year according to HMRC they were not valid.

Thanks Sue, wasn't aware of that.

Personally as I have limited broadband I will continue to print them using the HMRC Forms, but I guess it is up to each individual and whether the client is happy to receive them electronically.
