FTAX Tax returns
Thats my current combination and it works well. I have had a couple of demos for integrated sotware but then found out VT did a couple of things that would speed things up so think I'll be leaving it a while as I only have about 60 clients and money's tight0 -
I use Ftax as well. The form can sometimes feel a little 'clunky' but it does the job and the customer support is excellent.
I think I have a discount code somewhere if you want to buy it.
The other option I think is TaxCalc. This is more expensive than FTax but I think overall it gets a better rating.
I would start off with FTax if I were you.
I think the main difference is FTax is an intelligent PDF of the tax return - mostly, you need to know how to fill it in (which is not a bad thing!!).
Other software such as Digita and I expect Tax calc, ask you a series of questions about the various areas and the tax return is magically populated with the right answers.0 -
Tax Calc for me..0

Taxcalc but i think it's expensive to start with...
Looking forward to thier new additions of Practice Management...0 -
OK - looked at both; Ftax has much more user friendly website in terms of explaining which programs do what. Taxcalc website was confusing!
See precious little point buying software for the year to 5 April 2010 now; however I think I'll give FTax a go. At the moment I don't do enough to justify spending too much money.
Jenni, would you be able to email me the code if you find it at some stage?
Thanks all for advice!

Yep I will have a look for you.
Am happy to help out with 2010 returns if you end up getting any late ones!0
