Mortgage Income Verification

I recently advertised for clients in my local shop window and got a call from a guy wanting a mortgage verification. I did it and he says that "Skipton Building Society" dont accept verification from AAT' sonly ccab qualified? Has anyone else found that with Skipton? When I rang them they say it depends on the circumstances? It all seems a bit odd.

    A handful of banks only accept CCAB but most will accept AAT also. The AAT has a list of those banks who are on the approved list - do tell the MIP team as they are often in negotiations with those who won't use us and need to know what's happening 'in the field' so to speak.

    Ok will do. Im not having much luck in trying to gain clients at the mo, lol.
