In th Nov 2010 exam, Q 1.2 where does the figure 3.791 come from?

I emailed my tutor on Tuesday but as usual have not heard back yet!

... I sat P2 before the Syllabus Change in 2010 of course.... they may well have shifted some stuff over to P1.

Alot of stuff shifted into P1 and vis versa, transfer pricing is one of them.

As I understand it, transfer pricing is now a P2 topic

Anyone else had the email from CIMA to sign up for a mentor for your studies?

Yes I have, do we pay for it? If not can't see why not!

I've submitted my details, doesn't look like we pay anything for it and it does seem like a good idea.

Although a lot will depend on the mentor and the questions you have to ask I suppose, so we should just get Sandy as mentor and we can all be superhappy!

O wait, that's probably not an option.

Anyways, I'm just hoping to hear something back soon, because I'm curious about it.

No I haven't had it!!! I could really do with a CIMA mentor, especially as I don't have a qualified line manager. Does it say if Strategic Level students can apply for this?

Off in a jealous huff to look at CimaGlobal.

I'm sorry I really dont know, but in the email it says it's by invitation only for some reason. The site to look for more information would be www.cimaglobal.com/mentor.

My email stated that I was invited for the following reasons:

    • have come into the CIMA qualification via another qualification
    • may be less familiar with CIMA exams and exam technique
    • could benefit from guidance in how to approach CIMA exams.

I suppose they just enrol the program at the moment and therefore picked a number of students and will make it available for more and more once they got it a bit more setup.

I think it's only for people who haven't done a CIMA exam before.

I've entered my details, waiting to hear back.
