Law books for ATT

Has anyone bought the 'Essential Law for the Taxation Technician – Third edition' book from ATT. I am doing the paper 5 VAT exam in May 11 and was wondering whether I need to buy this book or whether I will be okay without it.
If anyone has it, is it worth getting or can you manage using the question banks.

    How are you studying? It should tell you in your study material which chapters of the law book you need to study if any.

    Yes I know I need to study certain chapters from it but I wasn't sure if I could get away from ordering it and just get by with learning the question bank only. Anyway, decided not to be so tight and I have spent £35 and ordered it, would kick myself for not spending the money if I fail the exam on the law section.

    For £35 i think you have done the right thing. I dont know who you are studying with but my law question bank was purely questions so the only way to answer them without the law book would have been to research on the internet or go to a library so the book was very useful

    Mine is the 4th edition and I bought it 3 years ago!!

    To be honest, I haven't looked at it, but you've reminded me to get it out and put it with my study books so I can refer back to it.
