    how was the personal tax paper, I have my head in the VAT books ready for tomorrow.

    I need to get my head in the VAT book for November now :lol:

    Personal Tax was ok. A few mean questions (mean= things I knew I hadn't revised or have trouble getting my head round), and a few easy ones (easy = opposite of mean!!!!).
    Had to calculate withdrawal of relief on EIS investment (hate hate hate!) and there were some random questions on share schemes and rollover relief and some other things I've now forgotten! Spent a lot of time reading the yellow books, hoping I understood it and copying the answers!! Think I will have been ok though.

    Well I survived the VAT paper so lets hope I have done enough to pass. I have to say I was the eldest in the room, when I walked in, there were all these young students sat all over the floor. I just plonked myself down and tried to blend in. Some of them were doing 4 papers, thank god I was just doing the one. I don't think I would have wanted to be hiking all those books along like they were.

    Glad it went ok noodles, hope you passed! It was a total mixed bag of ages at my sitting and I was somewhere near the middle :)

    Are you doing any in November?

    i will be ordering the personal TAX papers today to sit in November. That will just leave the ethics which I have decided to do that on its own at the end. It will take longer but I feel I could do without the stress in November, with it being busy in the office.
