Do I need to register for Money Laundering?

in AAT Level 3 (Level 6 in Scotland)
Hi, I'm not sure whether I should ask this question here or on the Chat forum. I'm a level 3 student but would like to start doing bookkeeping work from home asap. My question is, do I need to register with HMRC for Money Laundering? I'd like to know before I get started so I don't break any laws / regulations !!

    Yes you do.

    Any accountancy service provider has to have MLR supervision. Once you're a MAAT MIP you can get cover from the AAT but until then you have to go through HMRC.
