Good Afternoon everyone.

I am currently in a very mediocre position covering maternity leave. There is not enough work for myself and am in talks with the FD to sort some serious work out. I currently do most of the basic sales/purchase ledger, posting of invoice, payments chasing/making of, general budgeting etc etc, and wondered what else i could ask to take on within the department to help further my knowledge and also to help many of the accounts in need of some good tlc!!!

    You could try the following;

    sales rec
    bank rec
    fixed assets
    deferred rev
    journals
    vat return
    sales forecasts/leads

    but if you are only a temp, I don't know if you could, depends on the company.
