ACCA exam results

Does anyone know if the ACCA send exam results out in a certain order? I asked ACCA on the phone but they wouldn't tell me anything. I really now need to know my exam results as the agency keep withholding me from jobs because they say I am not qualified enough so I must pass the F8 paper next week. I am already starting to be quite anxious about it. Is anyone else getting nervous? I know ACCA have brought the results forward but surely it doesn't take this long to mark the papers :(

Is this an old thread? I'm sure you've said about the length of time they take to mark the papers before and been pointed to the article which explains why. However having said that I think the f8 markers are particularly slack!

I don't think they send the results in any recognised order, they are all received within a few hours of each other so how would knowing what order they are in make any difference?

Thank you for your reply. I know it's been asked before but i feel like my life is on hold waiting for this blasted result. I am jolly well hoping it is a pass as ACCa have had enough money off me for this paper. I have also been told that the ACCA use computers to mark the exams so surely that speeds things up. If I can get F8 passed I can move on and get a proper job.

How does passing one ACCA exam make you any more qualified than you currently are?

Good luck with your results next week. Next weekend will be stressful for all of us!

The agency have outright said that if you pass F8 you will be qualified enough for them to put you forward for roles ? Did they actually use those exact words or is it just what you are infering ?

I don't think computers mark the exams, rather that the markers use electronic documents (e.g. PDFs) instead of hard copy. THis might save time on mail, but still relies on "human" speed!

When do examiners reports, info about pass rates etc generally become available? Just waiting for my results for my first 2 exams & getting pretty nervous bout it now.

Am I right in thinking the results will start being distributed next Monday morning (in the early hours)?

I'm blissfully ignorant of the results next week given I already know I've totally failed my F5 paper.

Just don't see why you think passing one exam will change everything Glynnis? I passed F4 last year but does not make me anymore employable in my estimation.

I think you should concentrate on achieving part qualified status, as that is a proper milestone in
    studying ACCA.

    Thanks

    Mark

Results are released by text/email 5am next Monday morning.

The examiners reports usually appear on or around results day. However, accessing the ACCA website on results day is usually difficult as everyone is logging on!

    Thanks very much Richard.

I tend to find accessing the ACCA website on any day difficult!! It must be one of the slowest, least user-friendly websites I've ever come across - but that's another story!!

ACCA are currently migrating from their old website to a nice new shiney site. Currently, in theory, you should be able to log into either site, and move seamlessly between the sites depending on if the page you are trying to look at has been updated and moved or not. This moving from site to site bit of technology does not seem to be working very well (if at all), the site is getting slower and slower, and has virtually come to a complete standstill. I am told it will all be OK soon - lets hope that is before results day!

Thats good news, the old site was feeling very dated.
