I ordered the IFRS For Dummies book as I am doing F7 in June this year and you said it comes out in April but my email from Amazon.com says delivery 2nd week of May. Why is this? I need it before then as the exam is in June.

I think Steve's already told you that he can't control when the book is published.0 -
Don't you think that Amazon customer services would be a bit better placed to answer this question rather than the author of the book ?0

I have looked on Amazon.co.uk and the publication date has not moved (it is still 20 April 2012), hence you would expect delivery of the book around that time. If you ordered from Amazon.com (as per your post) the delivery date is a couple of weeks later because this version of Amazon caters for buyers overseas. I think you may have ordered from the wrong version of Amazon in which case you need to contact Amazon customer services as advised above.

Hello Glynis
I think you may find that it could be due to when you ordered the book.
I placed an order for this book on 26 January and the estimated dispatch is 21 April.
Perhaps it is also linked to how many copies Amazon will have in stock and based on pre orders already received you are due to receive your copy in early May.
You could of course try alternative book shops and other online retailers but you will forefeit the discount that is/was available.
Good luck with your resit and for F7.
All the best.

Thankyou Jo Clark I hope I pass them
This time.
Steve I have ordered from the .com address as I thought there was only 1 site. I have phoned them 4 times to see if they would cancel the order but they just kept saying to login and cancel from My orders but I can't see it. They are so unhelpful. They said I would need to reorder through the .co.uk site but I'll end up with 2 copies if I do that. What else can I do?0 -

Hi Glynis, here's a direct link to Amazon.com, the site you purchased your item from, detailing exactly how to cancel your order: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=5950340

Thank you for your help. I've managed to cancel it now.0

Did the fact that all the prices were in US Dollars not make you think that perhaps it was the wrong site - and the fact that on the home page there is a big Union Jack with press here for UK Amazon site ?0

I assumed that there was only 1 amazon site not 2. It is a very easy mistake to make.0
