PTax 2010/11 Exam Changes

Hello one and all.

Apparently, for those studying PTax 2010/11. They are changing this completly over to 2011/12 at the end of May.:ohmy:
So, if you have been revising for this then get booked in by May. Otherwise you will need the new tax years figures.

This was told to me off my tutor, however if I'm wrong I'm sure someone more knowlegeable will inform me

Your tutor is correct.

In the front of my text book there is a note that states:

The AAT has advised us that assessments under FA 2010 and F(No.2)A 2010 will cease to be available from end of May 2012. Assessments under FA 2011 will be available from 1 March 2012 until 31 March 2013. Please ensure you check the date you intend to sit your assessment to ensure you are using the correct material.

Thanks for the reminder... I wanted to check with my college yesterday that I am booked to sit the exam under FA 2011... don't want to get there and find I've been booked on FA 2010

Hi Jo,

Thanks for that. I had a re-sit between Easter, so looks like I will get my results 1 week before the deadline.
Only problem, I'm booked in for BTax end of May.

So, worst case and I fail again, I will have to get the new info and sit the next years exam.
Lukly AAT have some good resourses so I can compare.

This is my wost case sinario.
