My email address has been hijacked!
Bit annoyed and confused.
I have received emails from 12Pay and FTax in the past two days relating to things someone else has done which they have used my email address for.
The first related to a comment posted on 12Pay Forum and the second was a 'thank you for downloading stuff' from FTax. These are both websites I use, but do not relate to anything I did!
I'm worried about what else might happen.
Anybody got knowledge/experience of this sort of thing or has anyone else had this happen to them this week?

I had the same today from FTax. I have not contacted them for over a year, so they must be dragging out any email address who has ever enquired and thought why not spam them.
Simple answer - mark as spam/junk mail, and do not respond to the email otherwise you confirm to them that it is still a live email account and it will be spam forever!

I do use FTax and the 12Pay site has banned the person who posted having registered with my email address as they had done it to others too.FMAAT - AAT Licensed Member in Practice - Pewsey, Wiltshire0
