Hi

does anyone know about the exemptions we get from CIMA/ACCA depending on the units taken in Level 4?

    Hello

The exemptions available, as far as I know are:

    ACCA - F1, F2 and F3
CIMA - Certificate Level (5 papers)

I don't think it makes any difference to ACCA/CIMA which optional units you select.

I know you have not mentioned ATT, but should you decide to study this I understand that you can apply for an exemption to the Business Tax paper if you have studied this at AAT.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks, but what modules should I pick in order to get exemptions in ACCA/CIMA?

As far as I am aware it does not matter which optional modules you select at level 4 in order to gain exemptions for ACCA/CIMA.

    Does anyone else know otherwise?

You are right Jo - at least definitely with ACCA (not sure about CIMA but think it's the same) - doesn't make any difference at all which options you use. The exemptions are granted for completing the AAT qualification.

It doesn't matter which options you choose
You just need Level 4 AAT for the exemptions at both CIMA and ACCA

So pick the ones you think you'll enjoy

    Quick point about exemptions

You could also get exempt from some more of the chartered papers, if you have previously studied
e.g. a degree in law could get you an exemption from f4 for ACCA as well. So if you have
done a degree at uni, you never know it may just give you one or two extra exemptions here and
    there
    AAT

    Level 2 - 2010
    Level 3 - 2011
    Level 4 - 2013

    ACCA

    F4 - 2015
    F5 - 2015
