Hi,
We have a part-timer who works 24.5 hours per week but different hours each day. How do I work out what holiday they are allowed in hours???
Full time people work 37.5 over 5 days and get 23 days holiday, plus the 8 bank holidays - but don't worry about these. As the part timer is happy the take the bank hoildays off as normal.
thanks.

Isn't it just 24.5/37.5 x 23 days? ie 15.03 days? You'd have to pay the full daily rate of 7.5 hours if you do it that way. Alternatively you could do 23 days but paid at 24.5/5 days = 4.9 hours per day. It works out the same either way as 112.7 hours per year. She'd probably prefer to have 23 days off rather than 15 days though.0 -
Thanks for your help - we thought it was about 112 hours. :001_smile:0
