Returns just coming at me and still another 2.5 weeks of this hell..........struggling to sleep, shave, eat, ratty wih daughter, villa rubbish.............get me out of hereeeeeeeeee. i hate hmrc

    For once I don't blame HMRC, blame the clients who didn't get the info in til today and wanted their returns yesterday!

    Deep breath, cup of tea/ coffee, and relax.

    Just pick up one job, do it, and don't think about the others until you get to them. Process them on a FIFO basis, and keep going til they are done. If the late ones get done late that's not your fault. Don't put your quality of life before work [edit: I mean don't put work before your quality of life!!!!!!!!]

    Easier said than done, I know, I remember it well, but just hang on in there :)

    Exactly what needs to be done in January, but not sure that it's the way around you meant given the tone of the rest of the post!
