like a dumb question but is there a difference between the performance indicator 'Average Stock Holding Period' and 'Average Age of Finished Stock'?<BR><BR>It's just that my tutor has given me 'Average Stock divide by Cost of Sales' for the first one and on a past paper for the second one the answer is 'Closing Stock divide by Cost of Sales'.<BR><BR>Can anyone help? Is my tutor lying to me?!<BR><BR>Cheers.

    I know this might seem....

    they are quite different, the second should be closing stock of finished goods divided by cost of sales.
