Good afternoon everyone, hope its nice and sunny where you are!

Im taking the ATT Personal Tax exam in 2.5 weeks time (oh no!), and I was just wondering about the legislation books. I will be taking in the red/green CCH books as we have those in our office.
Looking at my course material, it seems that I would only need books 1A to 1D, as these contain all the various acts etc referred to in my course notes. Are other people doing this, or would you recommend taking all the books regardless? Im just thinking saving weight/space by carrying less, plus if we get tiny desks like school exams, there might not be enough room for everything!

Good luck to everyone taking any exams soon!

Cheers!

    Hey Fozza,

I've got my P Tax in a couple of weeks too. I will be taking the tolleys yellow leg 1a-1c in with me. Going to need an extremely sturdy bag! :) Where abouts are you taking yours? Mine is SW.

Come join our group AAT to ATT, started by Jo, for some revision.

    Hey :)

When I sat the PT paper I only took in the legislation books I knew I needed.

In my experience very few people finish with lots of time to spare - so you're unlikely to have time to look up anything new in the legislation books!

And my advice - invest in a small suitcase with wheels ;)

    Hey
thanks for the advice, will definitely take a strong bag or something, I always take too many pens, pencils, spare calculator in case batteries run out etc. The group sounds good too, how do I join? Doing distance learning with Kaplan, finding it a lot harder than college, having to self motivate and not having people to discuss things with (or copy answers off!)

    Have joined group now!
