Hi all,
Can anyone help with 1.5b of this practice assessment. I cannot workout where the £261 other income on the consolidated SOCI has come from, or how it has been worked out.

Sorry, I can't access the question but £261 sounded familiar so I hunted out this question which I answered for someone else a while back. Is it the same one you are asking about (Deer/Claw)? Or is it just a complete coincidence that both questions contain £261?

I've just checked and yes, it does look like the same question, so the link above should explain it all.
Basically it's the remainder of the dividends which haven't been cancelled out on consolidation.0 -
