Possible move to Australia - Does my qualification and membership mean anything there

As the title really.

My partner and I are really keen to move to Australia permanently and although we are both eligible I don't think AAT is recognized there?

Does anyone know what I would need to do to get a recognized qualification over there? I am MAAT and would like to run a small accountancy practice ideally.

Can anyone give any advice on this?

    I know a number of accountants who have moved to Australia and gained recognition of their UK accounting qualifications from the respective Australian institutes. Take a look at https://www.aat.org.au/ you might find what you need on this site.
