Project Certificate

I need to do a certificate for my project from my employer which states that this is my own work etc etc but I have left the job that I had under a bit of a cloud and the project was not entirely complimentary. I do not wish to ask them to sign the certificate. What can I do, can I approach my present employer?

    I had my present employer sign off my project, and was in a similar situation - my project was about my old employer and not entirely complimentary.

    Same here. I also got my present employer to sign off my project, although he did actually know me from when I worked at my previous job, so he was able to agree that it was all my own work and that it was an accurate portrayal of the company. The only real supporting evidence that I could give was a copy of an old catalogue (to prove that the company really existed). I think it's just important for the AAT to know that it is all your own work and you haven't just made it up.

    Thanks very much, I'll ask my employer - he has seen me working on the project so he knows its my own work - just trying to tie up these loose ends - should have finished everything months ago!
