BPP or First Intution??

I am about to book an online classroom live for F9 for the December exams and I am dithering about which provider to go with.

First Intution look very good but they are pre recorded lectures between 10-15 hrs with a live one hour debrief over four weeks. So not really a live classroom as such

BPP are eight live online lectures lasting 2.5 hours each.

I much prefer BPP study material over Kaplan which FI use. But FI have a marked progress report which BPP don't.

Anyone have any experience of either online classroom and could help me decide?

    Hello

I have completed a demo of the live online classroom with BPP and it was excellent. You have access to pre recorded lectures as well as the live lecture being recorded and then available to watch at a later date if needed, for example if you could not make that online live lecture.

There is also the collaboration (?) section which is like this forum but for the cohort of students and your tutor to ask questions about the course, a little like this forum I guess.

Why not see if you can signup to the free online live classroom demo via BPP.

I meant to say I have used BPP online classroom but not live online, however I am considering the live online for my next course.

How did you get on with the online classroom? I booked Monday for this but somehow my booking was never processed. I quite liked the idea of the revision been included in the package instead of having to pay an additional £450

I really enjoyed the experience and it was great being able to watch it several times if I needed to recap on something to confirm my knowledge. I also found it great being able to watch the lectures when I wanted and as much or as little as I wanted at each sitting. The same should apply with the live classroom if you/I choose this as the live lectures are also recorded (my understanding).

The revision package being included? Is that a special offer if you sign up for your ACCA module before the end of September? I have heard this is being offered by BPP for another professional qualification.

Sorry Jo I thought the online classroom included the taught phase the revision phase and some exam practice, not sure how I came to that conclusion.

I decided yesterday to stick with the online classroom as that was my original plan. I booked online so I could be sure my order wouldn't go astray again. Came home from work to a parcel of books from BPP from my original order Monday :mad2:

The lady I spoke with Thursday was convinced there was no order. They have spelt my name with a C rather than a K. You would have thought they could see there was an order from my address. Anyway got to sort that out Tuesday and try and stop the second order.

Off to look at what I have spent £400 on. Enjoy your Bank Holiday weekend, hope your weather is better than ours

    Afternoon :o

How frustrating for you! Is the original order for the same 'F' paper? I think you receive the books as well as online content. What made you decide not to go for online live? I'm not sure what ACCA online classroom includes as I am not studying for that qualification, I do however know that BPP have a deal for other professional qualifications, kind of upgrade from online to live online etc. and a discount if attending face to face classes.

Am surprised that your name has been spelt wrong... I can imagine how irritating that is... I feel the same when people spell Jo or my surname with e on the end :o

Weather not very good here... not too far from you... torrential rain this morning and had hoped it would clear the air but still very muggy.

Enjoy your books and the long weekend!

I went for the classroom online rather than the live because its slightly cheaper and I get study test, revision text and passcards instead of just the study text.

I also received two progress tests in the course notes. If I need a revision class or question day I can always book onto the ones at Croydon at a later date.

I think its much the same package minus the live classes and tutors contact, can only contact the tutor via the forums.
