Just to say thanks to Gill for advice given - The IT consultant found the problem was a mapping problem and found two versions of sage on the PC - Sage for Windows (which nobody knew we had!) & Sage Instant Accounting.

    Glad I could be of help. Think I will have a word with my boss about a pay rise as I appear to be a good IT consultant now!!!!
