Hi

You might be better off carreer wise by taking ACCA, CIMA etc. ACCA do a degree partnership with Oxford Brookes whereby you can gain a BSc (Hons) by completing ACCA part 1 and part 2 then submitting a reaerch project. Although this means you can gain an accountign qaulification and degree, its doubtfull if this degree will be respected as much as a degree gained in the usual manner since it wont develop the usual analytical abilities or assess reaserch skills etc in the way that attendance degees do. Even some ACCA students on the ACCA communities site have doubts about this and refer to the Oxford Brooks degree as a 'bought' degree.

If you want a professional development qualification, go for CIMA, ACCA etc. However, if you want a degree, go to uni to get.

N0
