Is ANYBODY doing Payroll ?

Hi fellow students,<BR>I'm currently studying Technician level and have decided to take the AAT Payroll course. However, after registering and sending my cash for the exam, I find that part of the course is assessments and that means I need a tutor. Does anyone know of a course actually being run. Lots of colleges list the payroll courses but don't actually run them ! I wonder if anyone else is having this difficulty. Are there any students who have taken this course who can shed any light or advice on the subject ?<BR>Thanks in advance<BR>Jacko<BR>

    Hi Tony, I am also studying AAT payroll and technician level. As it happens I am enrolled at two colleges both of whom teach Payroll, Farnborough College www.farn-ct.ac.uk and Alton College (commences in January) they are both in Hampshire. I hope it may help you. Nicola

    Is ANYBODY doing Payroll ?

    Hi Nicky, I am doing Technician, and will probably do payroll next year. What is it like?<BR><BR>I had the same problem as you - I do Technician through homestudy, and thought I would sail through payroll via homestudy, as I do payroll every week. Do you actually need a tutor? I wasn't aware of this, so am a bit worried now.<BR><BR>We are limited on centres who sit the payroll exam. I would have to sit my technician exams in one college, and on the same day travel miles to sit payroll in the afternoon, hence why I have left it this year. Good luck to you.
