I'm not sure if it does you will have to ask AAT.

@topcat. Its been up for 6 days and I only have 271 views on there. I try my best to get it out there but I don't think it will get as many views as the social media blogs as they are just really popular. My blog is aimed at a very specific audience and it is educational. I try my best to keep it as down to earth as possible and I try my best to explain each subject with as much detail as possible yet keeping the word count down.

The next post will be at the weekend or next week and I think it will be on the trial balance.

If you have any advise on how I can generate more traffic then please share :)

Thanks for all the views everyone

With regards to traffic put the link in your signature on here, as seo will already be built into aat forums and then when anyone comes across your previous posts from Google or on here instant traffic :-). Maybe have a notification list so you can automatically email users when you post new content (not sure on data protection act with this though). Then I would have a Google on search engine optimisation for word press. When you get a lot of unique traffic after 6 or 7 months might be worth using Google add sense if you wish to make a bit of pocket money

More traffic? Why not Tweet AAT with a link?

Please keep us informed how you get on with traffic I am very interested to how quickly you build it up. The numbers you have for a less than week old blog are very impressive! Most blogs would struggle to get 10% of that in a week

    Hi ,

loads better nice and modern looking now

depending on how serious you are i would recommend getting a fully qualified domain name it will cost Β£4 a year aprox which is nothing and it improves SEO. Great site for domain name registration is interentbs.net they are based in the bohamers so you dont pay tax

"Our local law does not require us to charge any Sales Tax or VAT to our customers; consequently we are not charging you any tax at all. You buy TAX-FREE!"

if you do go this route i wouldn't get a .co domain or anything like that as google will not rank them as highlly as such as .com, .co.uk .org etc

    best of luck !

Great idea here but you need to ensure that terminology is up to date. Remember, your audience (form here anyway) knows the 'balance sheet' as the 'statement of financial position' (SFP) and the 'fixed assets' as 'non-current assets' It may also be worth remembering that the format of the SFP changes for limited companies. There are other terminology issues but, overall, a good explanaiton of the key elements!

    Hi

Thanks for the feed back. I do know that this is the balance sheet for sole traders and partnerships. Once I get on to the limited companies I will use them terms. I did my qualification in 2009 so if anything has changed let me know. As in NVQ 3 to me it was the Balance Sheet but not in NVQ 4
