Am just about recovering from the shock, that after 7 years since I started my AAT journey(having a 3 1/2 year break in the middle due to this and that) I received notification that I have graduated from student to affiliate member last Wednesday evening.
Cue me bursting in to tears, and even now it's still not really sunk in. This has been a hard journey for me, but just goes to prove with determination and support from family, friends and strangers you can do it.
I took 5 attempts to pass Financial Statements - 2 in 2011 and 3 last autumn, but did not let it beat me and it was such an amazing feeling to see competent on the page last week.
Life as a full time working mum of 3 children is busy, but the sense of achievement I now have is amazing. Onwards now to finish my Open University Degree and hopefully retrain to become a primary school teacher specialising in Maths.

Good luck everyone still on their AAT Journey's :)

Congratulations. Being a full time working mum of three children is very difficult to study. You must be very proud of yourself managing all. Self motivation and dedication to achieve is most important for mums.
