Taking exams at 2 different colleges?

Hi
Does anyone know if you can take exams at 2 different colleges? I need to retake my final exam (personal tax) and my college is now closed for the summer and isn't offering resits until late August. I want to get the exam done and finished over summer so am looking to enter for it at another college. Has anyone done this?

I completed exams during my Level 3 at two different centres as the first centre stopped holding the exams so it's definitely allowed. The centre where you book the exam will just ask for your AAT number i believe.0
