in AAT Level 4 (Level 8 in Scotland)
Hi,

I will be sitting my personal tax exam for the 4th time in 2 weeks, does anybody have any tips, or help they can give me? Im really struggling with it and its my last exam! HELP!!!!

    Personal tax, according to pass rates, is one of the difficult ones.

    Advice;
    1) Get the feedback from all four attempts
    2) Get it interpreted from your tutor, are you failing the same topics?
    3) Prepare to resit, our advice would be to memorise the rules first and then sit papers that you have not sat before - the students have a phenomenon memory to remember the answers, which makes the paper unlike the real experience.

    Contact your tutor and they may produce customised exam papers - AAT only have two practice papers and in our view it would be better to have more.
