Exam Help

Hi All

could you please give me some pointers on how to do the computerized exams.

My tutor gives me printed out versions of the paper and i can get the answers right but it seems that
every time he gives me one that is computerized i feel like i freeze up and i cant do them.

Any pointers will be very appreciated

I find it helpful to work answers out on paper. The centre that I take the exams at give each candidates a few sheets of plain paper. I also find it helpful to take notes which help me to identify the main points of each question.

I just did my ITAX a few days ago, got exceeded on the long VAT return question, met on all the rest (as that was their maximum result), and below requirement on one. But as that question only had 5 marks between 3 multiple choice answers, just getting one of those 3 wrong dropped me 2 marks on the question hence the B.req mark on that question. :(
Still, it was an overall pass, so I'm happy. Just one more module to go (Costs & Revenues)!

way to go koopa i think the itax exam possibly the easiest exam apart from spreadsheets but i think the multiple choice question were there to catch you out as i couldnt find any on the practice exam i was set.

Yeah, some of those questions with dropdown menu options seem deliberately set to try to catch you out. I looked through the linked reference materials and couldn't find the answer at all, ended up guessing and getting it wrong. xD

JakeR - when will you be resitting your ACPR exam again? I've got my final exam coming up in about a fortnights' time. :)

Can someone tell me on level 3 I passed my account prep and prep final accounts exams. Now at AAT website I see subject for cost and revenue , one for VAT , one for spreadsheets and one for professional ethics. Now I have a book for cash management. Which unit will need it ? Thanks.

Cash Management is one of the optional units at Level 4...

Hope I didn't ruin your day there. xD
